Bakersfield, CA The Bakersfield Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation is proud to announce a generous donation of $22,000 to the Ronald McDonald House. This contribution will support the Ronald McDonald House's mission to provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
The funds were raised through the Foundation's annual charity golf tournament, which saw record participation from members and the community.
We are incredibly grateful to our Golf Committee and the Charitable Foundation for their tireless efforts in organizing this event, year after year, and raising such a significant amount. Their dedication and hard work have made this donation possible, and we are honored to support the Ronald McDonald House and the vital services they provide families," said Jenny Magana, President of the Bakersfield Association of REALTORS®.
"We are deeply thankful to the Bakersfield Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation for their generous donation and ongoing support. 100% of the funds raised are used to care for local families here in Kern County and provide a home away from home as they navigate their child’s medical crisis," said Scarlett Sabin, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House.
