September 9, 2025— The California FFA Foundation is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its two-year Seeds of Impact campaign, which raised a total of $3,852,853 to support agricultural education and student leadership programs across the state.

Launched in 2023 with a lead gift from The James G. Boswell Foundation and in honor of agricultural champions John and Gail Kautz, the Seeds of Impact campaign was created to expand opportunity and drive innovation across California FFA programs. Over the past two years, more than 31,518 students have participated in leadership development conferences supported by Foundation funds. The campaign’s success is also reflected in a record membership of 108,194 students this year, highlighting the growing influence of agricultural education statewide.

“Two years ago, we planted a seed with a vision to invest in the future of California agriculture. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our partners, the Seeds of Impact campaign has raised over $3.8 million, proving what’s possible.” Emily Rooney, President of the Agricultural Council of the California FFA Foundation Council.

These results underscore the growing momentum behind agricultural education and the widespread belief in preparing students to lead the future of food, farming, and natural resources.

As California FFA approaches its 100th anniversary, the Foundation views the Seeds of Impact campaign as a powerful bridge into its next chapter. It serves as a testament to what can be achieved when champions invest in shaping the next century of growth for agricultural education.
