The 2020 Bakersfield St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway house will be showcased during a free virtual tour hosted by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
Located in Montana Ridge in southwest Bakersfield, John Balfanz Homes constructed the home that features an estimated 1,750 square feet and an estimated value of $300,000. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, single story contemporary design, large kitchen with center island and professional appliances, open dining/great room for family gathering and entertaining and a master suite with oversized shower and huge walk in closet.
Guests can tune in via Facebook live to get a sneak peek of the beautiful home and hear directly from the people that built and designed it. After previewing the house, guests can also reserve a $100 ticket for a chance to win the home and the Last Chance Prize, a
$10,000 shopping spree, courtesy of Mor ® Furniture For Less.
Proceeds from the 2020 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway ticket sales will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all they should worry about is helping their child live.

WHY: The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has become one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital nationwide. This is the 30th anniversary of the national program and the 17th house to be built in this market.
To date, 540 houses have been given away and the program has raised more than $455 million for St. Jude. Because a majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors through programs like this, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
